The Moscow Food Co-op invites the public to a FREE parking lot party 4–7 p.m., Sunday, August 27 to celebrate small, local, and cooperative producers as part of Principle Six (P6) Month. During the celebration, the Co-op's parking lot will be filled with live music, samples, local farmers, raffles, and kids’ games.
Enjoy live music with local musicians Trevor Miller, Delta G Blues, and the Joseph Hein Band. Sample free beer and wine from Camas Prairie Winery, Clearwater Canyon Cellars, Merry Cellars, Paradise Creek Brewery, Whiskey Barrel Cider, and more. And make your own smoothie with the pedal-powered smoothie bike.
P6 is a national collaboration among grocery cooperatives and farmer cooperatives. The Moscow Food Co-op is launching the P6 program this August to advance the values of supporting independent farmers and producers, locally and around the world. The P6 label is an easy-to-follow guide for shoppers to find the products that best align with their co-op values.
