Moscow, ID (July 13, 2016) – Palouse Habitat for Humanity invites the public to join us this Sunday, July 17 at 2:00 pm at the home build site, 415 Greensides Place in Moscow to celebrate the beginning of the current Habitat home build for Jonathan and Christy Lloyd and their young family.
“Come celebrate with us. It really takes a community, volunteers who swing hammers and serve lunches and many others to make these homes possible. It isn’t often most people get a chance to help raise a wall in a new home. Come join in!” encouraged Jennifer Wallace, Executive Director for Palouse HFH.
As future Habitat homeowners, Jonathan and Christy are already spending their Saturdays helping build alongside volunteers, have taken financial management classes, are saving towards a down payment of $1000, and will purchase the home from Palouse Habitat once completed.
Construction is already underway on the Lloyd home in the Greensides neighborhood in north Moscow. Volunteers needed! Visit www.palousehabitat.org.
Palouse Habitat for Humanity is the local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. It was established in 1992 and has built homes in Albion, Colfax, Pullman, Moscow, Genesee, Palouse and Uniontown. Our mission is to serve our neighbors in need by helping eliminate poverty housing on the Palouse and worldwide.
