Name: Path to College Presentation
Date: October 17, 2018
Time: 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM PDT
Event Description:
Palouse Pathways will be hosting Path to College Presentations across the region in the fall. The presentations are designed for Ninth Graders and their parents and will share some of the steps families can take to prepare for college and career decisions.  Tenth grade families looking for general college information are also welcome.  They will include information on college admissions tests, scholarships, paying for college and staying organized.  They will feature faculty from area Universities and recent high school graduates.

There are two events open to the public:

October 2 from 6:30-8 pm at Neill Public Library in Pullman.
October 17 from 6-7:30 at Moscow Middle School in Moscow.

There will also be events for students and parents at Pullman High School (October 24); Lapwai Junior Senior High School (October 30) and Genesee High School (November 1).

Peggy Jenkins, director of Palouse Pathways explains that, for Ninth grade families “college is a long way off so there is no reason to stress.  But it’s good to know the key dates and details so that you can plan and be ready.  There are also some easy (and even fun!) things you can do now to help your student get and stay inspired.”
