PCEI Winter Wanderings Family Series: The Great Backyard Bird Count!

Come to the Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute (PCEI) for the second installment of our 2015 Winter Wanderings Family Series: The Great Backyard Bird Count! Come to the PCEI Nature Center to learn about and partake in this world-wide citizen science project. We will learn about winter birds of the Palouse from Palouse Audubon President, Ron Force, and then we will go look for them around the Nature Center. We will also make bird feeders to bring home. Please be sure to bring: 1) Warm clothes! (about half of this program will be outside) 2) Your binoculars (if you have them! we will provide some to borrow, too!) 3) Your sense of wonder! The Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute will host one installment of the Winter Wanderings Family Series each month from January 2015 through April 2015. All events are FREE, fun, and entertaining for all ages.
