Transport yourself across the Atlantic to join the Palouse Choral Society for and evening of seasonal music born in the British Isles. The Palouse Choral Society will kick-off the holiday season with "Christmas from the British Isles," at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Uniontown on December 2 & 4. The program will feature Benjamin Britten's A Ceremony of Carols with harpist, Jenna Engle, as well as selections by the Palouse Choral Society's Children's Chorus. Additionally, the program will feature a bagpiper, pieces by John Tavner, Herbert Howells, Gustav Holst, John Rutter, and the late, great David Willcocks, with Susan Billin on the organ. Throughout the program, Dylan Thomas' work "A Child's Christmas in Wales" will be read. The program will conclude with combined choirs singing an arrangement of the Scottish folksong, Auld Lang Syne.
