Author Kate Lebo will be at BookPeople of Moscow on Thursday, December 11th at 6:30pm to show her new book, Pie School, and offer a pie crust demonstration to get baking enthusiasts set for holiday pie construction! Pie School promises a "thorough schooling in the delightful art of all things pie." Her book includes the usual suspects, as well as deliciously unique pies in chapters on rhubarb, blueberry, cherry, peach, plum, blackberry, apple, preserved fruits, and chiffon.
Pie school provides no-nonsense techniques for creating that perfect flakey pie crust, tricks for choosing the best fruit for swoon-worthy fillings, and much more.
