Event Description:
Potlatch community members are invited to Friends of the Potlatch Library’s fourth annual Wine, Chocolate, and Poetry event at the Potlatch Public Library on Friday, February 8, from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. There will be poetry readings by Stacy Boe Miller, Michael Riley, and Zachary Turpin.
 
Stacy Boe Miller is originally from a small town in eastern Wyoming near the Black Hills of South Dakota. She has lived in Moscow for eight years with her husband and three children. She is finishing her final year as an MFA Creative Writing candidate at the University of Idaho. Her poems explore womanhood, motherhood, and living in the West. She has been published in several journals. 
 
Zachary Turpin is an assistant professor of American Literature at the University of Idaho, and a former Kluge Fellow at the Library of Congress. As a digital humanist with a special interest in nineteenth-century periodical culture, he has uncovered lost works by a number of American authors, including Walt Whitman, Emma Lazarus, Mark Twain, Ambrose Bierce, L. Frank Baum, and Anne Sexton.
