Event Description:
The City, with assistance from Bernardo Wills Architects, held the first public planning workshop for the new Edible Forest Park on December 19, 2018. Great information was gathered from the public for the new park.

A second public planning workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. in the multipurpose room of the Hamilton Indoor Recreation Center, 1724 F Street. The workshop is free and open to the public.

This planning workshop will present exhibits illustrating the preliminary alternative concept layout(s) for review and discussion with the public. In addition, workshop participants will have an opportunity to submit written comments and vote on preferred alternatives.

The Edible Forest Park is located along Southview Avenue, east of the intersection of Highway 95 and Southview Avenue at the south end of Moscow. This unique space is intended to provide educational opportunities and an example to the community of stewardship of a public food forest. The park is intended to create a sense of place and community pride for Moscow for generations to come.
