Event Description:
Want to help out your community? Join us for Realy for Life, from 6 PM on April 7th to 6 AM April 8th! The relay will be held at the University of Idaho at the Kibbie Dome. The theme this year takes a Hawaiian twist! "Re-Lei" for a Cure!"
Recruit a team and sponsor the event! Funds raised from the Relay will help support Local Programs and services here in Latah County. These services include but are not limited to: Rides to treatment in Spokane, Free hotel stays for cancer patients and their loved ones in Spokane, Look Good Feel Better: a volunteer led program which helps women learn beauty and skin regiments after undergoing harsh cancer treatment, Patient Navigator: an ACS representative who helps navigate cancer treatment, diagnosis, and insurance, provides emotional suppor, and helps connect patients to other services and programs, and lastly, Cancer Resource Center in Gritman Medical Center. This Center connects patients to programs and services in the are, volunteer support, wigs, hats, education, and collaboration with Gritman's Light A Candle Program.
