Rendezvous in the Park "Showcase"

The 11th annual "Rendezvous in the Park" Showcase event will be held Saturday, April 4, at the Kenworthy Theatre in downtown Moscow. Showcase will feature six bands competing for three spots opening for this summer's Rendezvous in the Park Music and Arts Festival, July 17th to 19th. A unique feature of the event is that with each paid admission, entrants will receive two tickets to be used to vote for their favorite bands. The top two audience favorites plus a third musical artist, chosen by the Rendezvous Board of Directors, will be announced at the close of the evening. This year's competing bands include local bands 'Genus in Remission,' "An American Forrest," "Blue Funk Jailbreak," and "Yellow Dog Flats, "as well as " Hoodoo Two" from the Sandpoint area & "Dawn of Life" from Spokane. In between the competing bands, the audience will be entertained by the Moscow acapella group  "Bigger Boat." Beer and wine will be available for purchase from the Moscow Brewing Company.
