Save the Children Documentary Half the Sky & Speaker Ryan Murphy

Watch Half the Sky to follow the stories of inspiring women around the world who are confronting oppression and creating real, meaningful solutions to community issues through healthcare, education, and economic empowerment for women and girls. This documentary is presented by Save the Children, an international organization dedicated to improving the lives of women and children worldwide. Save the Children’s Washington State chapter head, Ryan Murphy, will also speak on the organization’s work. Join this event in Goertzen Hall 21 on the WSU Pullman campus at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, March 7. This event is sponsored by the WSU Young Democrats club and the Eastern Washington branch of Save the Children and is part of International Women’s Day at WSU.
