Screen on the Green

Bring your lawn chair and a cozy blanket and join us at our free, family-friendly summer movies on a big outdoor screen. Take a seat on the Theophilus Tower lawn Thursday evenings at 8:45 p.m. for some of the biggest recent block-busters, animated films and a few throw-backs. The series is free and open to the public. In cases of inclement weather (rain, moderate wind, etc.), this event may be moved the Bruce M. Pitman Center (709 Deakin Ave. Moscow). Check this website for updates.

Parking is available along Paradise Creek, or the Theophilus Tower parking lot. 

Returning for the 2018 season - Vandals Dining will open The Grid (located adjacent to the Tower Lawn) offering yummy candy and soda, PLUS personal pizza's and your favorite movie watching snacks! Come down from 8-10:30 p.m. each Thursday.

 New this year is a costume contest for select movies, come dressed in the theme described below, check in at the popcorn table and be entered to win a prize.

• June 21 The Sandlot(PG)

• June 28 Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (PG-13) 

• July 5 Independence Day (PG-13) - red, white, and blue costumes

• July 12 Ready Player One (PG-13) - video game inspired costumes

• July 19 The Princess Bride (PG) - renaissance themed costumes

• July 26 COCO (PG)

• August 2 Star Wars: The Last Jedi (PG- 13) - Star Wars costumes

• August 11 Stomp the Yard (PG-13) a partnership with Fraternity and Sorority Life Recruitment

• August 18 Avengers: Infinity War (PG-13) as part of Palousafest 2018

Film schedule is subject to change. 

Friendly reminders:

• Complimentary popcorn is provided on a first come, first served basis.  

• Pets on a leash are welcome. 

• Movie snacks from home are okay. 

• Alcohol is prohibited.
