Self-Employment: Owning a Small Business presentation Want to learn more about owning and operating a small business? Attend a free presentation by Joe Raiden and learn about his dream of owning a business. Come and learn why and how Joe chooses to be self-employed. Also, Joe will discuss the supports needed to run a small business. The presentation will be Wednesday, October 1 at 6:30PM at the conference room in Gritman Medical Center, 700 South Main Street, Moscow. The presentation is 1 hour long with time for questions at the end. Joe Raiden is a parent of 2 teenagers and has a beautiful wife of 19 years. Joe has lived in Moscow all his life. Joe is an advocate for people with disabilities and past Vice President of the Self Advocate Leadership Network. Joe currently serves on the Idaho Council on Developmental Disabilities. In this presentation, Joe shares the ups and downs of owning his own business as a person with a disability. Self-employment is a great option for people with disabilities that may not fit into the traditional job market. Come and learn how and why self-employment is important for people with disabilities.
