In honor of Children's Book Week, BookPeople of Moscow hosts photo opportunities with children's book characters Elephant and Piggie, from the books by Mo Willems, at 4 p.m. on Friday, April 28 and at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 29. BookPeople also offers story times every day at 11 a.m., May 1 – 5, plus special Spanish language storytimes on May 1 and May 4. Beginning Saturday, April 29 through Saturday, May 6 there will be coloring sheet and word search giveaways and educator freebies during the store's regular business hours (10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Mon. - Sat. and 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Sun.). Educators can bring their school I.D. and choose free books for their classrooms from BookPeople's collection of publisher-donated books.
