The University of Idaho Women's Center is proud to present the third event in our Spring 2016 Women's Film Series! Join us for a special screening of the critically-acclaimed film "India's Daughter." Filmmaker Leslee Udwin examines the society and values of India after the 2012 brutal gang rape and murder of a 23-year-old medical student on a bus in New Delhi. Admission is free. Donations to the Women's Center will be accepted. On the last Monday of every month from January-April 2016, the Women's Center will be screening a specially selected film at the Kenworthy that highlights issues of gender justice and equity. The final film in the series line-up is: April 25 - He Named Me Malala (www.henamedmemalalamovie.com/) This program is supported in part by a grant from the Idaho Humanities Council, a State-based program of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
