Community members are invited to Moscow Public Library on Thursday, July 12 at 6:00 p.m. for the first event in the Summer Gardening Series: Organic Ways to Manage Weeds & Garden Pests.
Marci Miller of Rural Roots will share sustainable, earth-friendly ways to manage weeds and pests in the garden.
Rural Roots is a nonprofit in the Palouse with the mission to support and enhance sustainable agriculture and local food systems in the Inland Northwest and beyond.
Earlier this summer, Moscow Public Library collaborated closely with Rural Roots to develop Palouse Exchange-A-Seed, or P.E.A.S. as it is fondly known, Moscow library’s free seed library.
Light refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Moscow Library.
Registration is not required for this free, educational library program.
