Palouse Knowledge Corridor is proud to partner with our flagship sponsor, the University of Idaho, to launch our first-ever Student Entrepreneur Weekend, which takes place on November 16th and 17th. While we wager most of you are no longer high school students, there are still plenty of ways to get involved.
First and foremost, if you know any driven high school students who are looking to learn the fundamentals of business development, this is a tremendous opportunity. Similarly, if you are a business owner that is looking to incorporate your children into the long-term plans for your enterprise, this is a fantastic chance for them to develop skills that will make them an immediate benefit, as well as giving them a strong foundation for future success.
We also have some unique sponsorship opportunities available for this event. Over the weekend, two group meals will be provided, and we are allowing businesses to sponsor either the Friday Dinner or Saturday Lunch for $250 each. You will then be able to give a 5-minute presentation at the meal to the assembled group of students, business leaders, and mentors, as well as prominent display of your goods and services throughout the events.
The attendance fee for the weekend is $75, but we are also offering scholarships of $50 per student, allowing businesses and organizations to support up to 10 students for a total of $500. In addition to these opportunities, we also welcome creating custom sponsorship packages to represent your business or organization, which may include a combination of the above, as well as tie-ins with other BTE events, naming of achievement awards, product placement, and others.
Sponsorship of this event directly helps driven students to learn the necessary skills and qualities that make a sound, successful business, while also providing your company visibility to attendees and fellow sponsors. We are very excited to see what our young group of entrepreneurs brings to the table, and we hope you will join us in helping provide them this unique experience.
