Event attendees are on their own for lunch, but the Red Sage Café is just down the hall inside the hospital and open to the public. The 8.5-hour course will give you the skills to help someone who is experiencing a mental health crisis. The 5-step strategy includes assessing risk, respectful listening, supporting the person in crisis, and identifying appropriate professional help.
