Event Description:
Come celebrate the Eggan After School Program and the impact it has on kids' lives by attending "The Light Show"! As part of the Afterschool Alliance's nationwide programpromoting awareness for after school programs, the Eggan Youth Center is hosting this art walk-type event where children are encouraged to decorate paper light bulbs, representing light and awareness, to show what the Eggan Youth Center, community and family mean to them.
The Eggan Youth Center's after school program is a safe, interactive, and positive place for kids to have fun, make friends, and learn new things. When kids in our program were asked what the Eggan Youth Center means to them, the three most common answers were friends, family, and fun. By attending this event, you are playing a role in strengthening our community and impacting our youth in a positive way!
