Sexual harassment in the workplace has been a topic of national conversation since Anita Hill testified before Congress in 1991 and once again it is dominating headlines. Our firm has worked on all sides of sexual harassment matters, including investigation of sexual harassment complaints, advising employers, complaining employees and accused employees, and conducting sexual harassment training. The presentation will explain the current law, provide many examples of conduct constituting sexual harassment, discuss actions employers can take to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace, provide recommendations for parents of working teens and review steps employers should take to address a sexual harassment complaint. Attendees are welcome to bring their lunch to the event. Some visitor parking is available in the parking lot across 5th Street (please do not park in the post office lot).
