Come join the Washington Idaho Symphony for its first concert of the 44th 2015-2016 season. Opening with Mendelssohn's atmospheric masterpiece, The Hebrides, the symphony will then feature Pullman's very own incredible Ann Yasinitsky in a virtuosic performance of Carl Nielsen's masterful and playful Flute Concerto. The second half will open with a beautiful Romanze for Viola and Orchestra by Max Bruch, featuring Bridget Scoles, a winner from the 2014-2015 Domey/Gillespie Young Artists Competition. Beethoven's sunny and energetic Symphony No. 4 will round out what is sure to be an exciting and delightful opening performance of the Washington Idaho Symphony's 44th Season.
