Sign up is needed 2:00-3:15pm 4:00-5:15pm Therapeutic Yoga If you have limited mobility, flexibility, and or limited physical movement because of body aches and pains, past injuries, body tightness (spine, knee, hip for example) and/or stiffness or chronic illness, therapeutic yoga may be for you. Therapeutic yoga also uses various props to allow for supported yoga poses. When you are fully supported, you can more easily let go into the gentle stretching that allows our bodies to rest and relax. This combination of supported poses, gentle stretching and relaxation allows the healing practice to begin, and provides an opportunity to recover from injury and illness. Guided breathing exercise used to enhance the poses, and guided imagery allows for positive visualization to a healthier and more restful state of being. No prior yoga experience necessary
