Event Description:
The University of Idaho Lab Choir is a community choir open to singers of all ages both within the university (students of any major, faculty, and staff) and community members not associate with U of I. Undergraduate Music Education students have an opportunity to refine and practice their skills as conductors by choosing, teaching, and conducting one song each throughout the semester. These future music educators are coached by the current Masters students in Choral Conducting from the U of I. Through this unique three-tiered approach to service, everyone involved in the choir is served even as they are serving.
