UI Women's Center presents: Lunafest Women's Film Festival

LUNAFEST is a national film festival that showcases original short films by, for and about women, and fundraiser for Chicken & Egg Pictures. Movie fans can gather to view a selection of diverse, unique and limited-distribution films by independent women filmmakers and screenwriters. Our film festival begins with a casual reception of hors d’oeuvres and a no-host bar, followed by the film screening at 7:30pm. A raffle will be held during intermission, featuring fantastic prizes donated by local businesses and artists! Tickets are available at the Women’s Center or at the door. Since 2000, LUNAFEST has showcased the work of talented women directors from all over the world. Discover the ground-breaking women from prior seasons, along with the ones who are changing the industry with this year’s lineup. NOTE: Films featured in LUNAFEST are not rated, but they suggest age 13+ for this season’s lineup.
