Event Description:
The 5th Annual UIdeas Symposium will feature interdisciplinary and inspirational presentations from UI faculty (NOMINATED BY YOU) sharing what they, do, why they do it, and how it relates to sustainability. 
This year's speakers include- 
Lianne Wappett: Adjunct Faculty in the School of Journalism and Mass Media. Lianne researches consumable art and design in the 21st Century. 
Jeffrey Hicke: Associate Professor in the Department of Geography. Jeff's research includes connecting widespread tree mortality and global climate change. 
Romauld Afatchao: Associate Director of the Martin Institute and Program in International Studies. Romauld's research rethinks development for communities in Africa. 
Tara Hudibury: Assistant Professor in College of Natural Resources. Tara researches sustaining carbon storage and uptake in terrestrial ecosystems.
