Join the UI Retirees Association for tours of Moscow’s historic areas, led by Nels Reese.

Downtown tours will meet at Friendship Square. Fort Russell tours will meet at the McConnell Mansion. Parking is available in the 1912 Center parking lot.

Moscow’s Historic Downtown: With a few exceptions, it was the dramatic creation of visionary pioneers between 1885 and 1910. The city remains as a vibrant university town.

Fort Russell Historic District: The citizens who build downtown oft lived nearby in the Fort Russell neighborhood. While the homes are stylish they often vary in unique ways from the styles of the day. The collection of homes in this district, sited among gracious maples, rival any in the State of Idaho!
