Name: Ukrainian Egg Decorating class at the Dahmen Barn
Date: March 8, 2015
Event Description:
Artisans at the Dahmen Barn present a workshop on decorating Ukrainian eggs. Instructor Margaret Dibble first learned to make Ukrainian eggs about 30 years ago with the WSU International Folk Dancers.  Ukrainian Style eggs are dyed in a wax resist (like batik) process. The technique is simple; the results can be spectacular.   Registrations are required by March 6.

Artisans at the Dahmen Barn is a 501c3 non-profit creativity center on highway 195 in Uniontown in the big white barn behind the famous iron wheel fence.  The facility is fully handicap accessible and has no daily admission fee.  It is open Thursday through Sunday each week, from 10 am to 4 pm through February, then until 6 pm beginning March 1.  Information:  www.artisanban.org or 509-229-3414.
