The new Integrated Research and Innovation Center (IRIC) is a 21st-century interdisciplinary research facility designed to help faculty researchers solve the complex problems of our times. The center will feature advanced equipment and laboratories, designed with maximum adaptability and flexibility to meet the challenges of the future. IRIC will be erected at a pivotal time for the University of Idaho, where research expenditures totaled nearly $96 million in 2013.
