Vandal Soccer Hosts BSU Friday #KibbieKickoff Celebration

Event Description:
Idaho soccer is set to take on in-state rival Boise State on Friday evening in the Kibbie Dome, with kickoff set for 6 p.m. Admission is free, with a FanZone Tailgate getting started outside the Dome at 3:30 p.m.
The first 2000 fans in the Dome will also receive a free vuvuzela, commemorating the game. Fans at the tailgate will also have the ability to pick up tickets to next week’s football season opener against Sacramento State. Tickets will be FREE for all faculty, staff and community members.

LAST TIME OUT: Idaho picked up a Big West split last weekend, falling to UC Santa Barbara on Friday and taking down UC Riverside on Sunday night.
RIVALRY RENEWED: Idaho and Boise State have played each of the last three seasons, with Idaho winning last year’s matchup 1-0 in Boise. Kavita Battan got the lone goal, netting the game-winner in the 21st minute.
HOME SWEET DOME: The Vandals moved inside this season to become the first NCAA women’s soccer team to play an entire season indoors. The brand new, state-of-the-art turf was installed in the summer and will provide the team with a world-class surface.
