Veteran's Day Concert

Veteran?s Day Concert, November 11, 2014, 7:00 PM The Community Band of the Palouse will honor our area?s military veterans with a concert on Tuesday, November 11, 2014, at 7 pm in the Domey auditorium of the Gladish Community and Cultural Center. The concert will feature a selection entitled ?The American Veteran? by Jonathan LaFlamme, with guest narrator, Brigadier General Carleton B. Waldrop, USAF, Ret. The band will also pay tribute to the birthdays of Adolph Sax, inventor of the saxophone, John Philip Sousa, and the United States Marine Corps. Music will include patriotic selections and the music of Sousa. Special guests include the Air Force ROTC Honor Guard and The Quad-City Saxophone Ensemble. Admission is FREE.
