Do you know the history of Moscow’s waste water treatment plant? Why did Potlatch become the site of America’s largest white pine lumber mill? Ever wondered about the history of Spring Valley Reservoir? Learn about all of this history and more by taking a ride through Latah County’s past with the Latah County Historical Society! Join LCHS for a cross-county tour of our region’s water history on Saturday, September 10th. Departing from Moscow at 8:00 a.m., and returning at 5:00 p.m., the tour will explore Latah County’s history and water’s role in industry and recreation. The cost is $60 for LCHS Members, and $70 for Non-Members. Boxed lunches from Troy’s Filling Station included with reservation. This event is made possible by the Idaho Humanities Council.
