Event Description:
The Palouse Environmental Sustainability Coalition is sponsoring an art contest, encouraging students in grades K-12 to consider "what does water mean to you?" Submissions will be displayed at the 1912 Center through the holiday season. Cash prizes will be awarded in various categories, sponsored by the Latah County Historical Society in conjunction with the arrival of the traveling exhibit Water/Ways in December. 

ART CONTEST RULES: What Does Water Mean to You?
K-12 Students

Make a drawing, painting, cloth, multimedia picture or collage that can hang on the wall. 

Attach a paper with the title of your picture, your name, and phone number.

Optional: Attach up to a one page story of your picture.

Turn your picture in on Monday, Nov 7, 2016 between 9 am and 9 pm at the 1912 Center Office

Cash prizes will be awarded for:
  • Most colorful picture
  • Best black & white or monochrome picture
  • Most creative, imaginative picture or idea
  • Best at showing the need to protect our waters
  • Judges’ Choice
