Wild Women Winter Art Series - 16 sessions, 16 different topics, on Sunday afternoons from January 3 through April 24. If you have a family that is glued to the TV watching Sunday afternoon sports, this is your chance to break free for a few hours and do something new and creative! Come experiment with a new medium! Bring a friend and have a great time.
Assemblage: Do you collect "found objects"? Are "odds and bobs" your thing? If you answered "yes", this class is for you! Putting little objects together into a box or frame can elevate them from "junk drawer" to "ART". Bring those interesting clippings, bobbles, photos, spools, beads, and "whatevers". We will provide boxes and frames, plus extra "stuff", and show you how to make it exciting! Even if you have never made art before, you will have a successful piece with assemblage.
Instructor: Debi Robinson-Smith has been living on the Palouse for 30 years. She makes art on her small farm north of Moscow. Debi paints, makes assemblages from found and recycled objects, does oil pastel portraits, makes one-of-a-kind dolls, beads, and teaches art to children and adults. She is a member of Palouse Women Artists.
Materials fee: Please pay the instructor a $5 materials fee the day of the class.
