Wine and Cheese Gala

Please join the U of I College of Agricultural and Life Sciences for the annual Wine and Cheese Gala. Friday, April 5, 4:00pm-7:00pm=at the 1912 Center. This year, we are featuring a selection of local wines and cheese, as well as beer and beef from our own Vandal Brand Meats. Purchase your favorite bottles to take home, participate in raffles highlighting local businesses and learn about the Vandals Uncorked Wine Club. New this year: step into the past with a fashion display of the Leila Old Historic Costume Collection, housed in the CALS Margaret Ritchie School of Family Consumer Sciences. Guests will have a rare opportunity to see this historic collection in motion, as models move through the venue in these beautifully curated pieces of clothing. This event is open to all ages, but only those 21 and older may sample wine and beer. Tickets are $25 each, or two for $45. Each ticket provides guests with three complimentary samples of beer or wine, and appetizers catered by Bloom in Moscow. Tickets for non-drinkers are $15 each and include a non-alcoholic beverage along with appetizers catered by Bloom in Moscow. A portion of the proceeds will benefit CALS student groups.
