Event Description:
The Palouse Land Trust and Moscow Parks and Rec cordially invite the community to join us for the first annual WinterFest, a celebration of the season across the Palouse! We're excited to share how everyone can get outside and enjoy the best the area has to offer, no matter what the weather. It's also a great chance to get to know Berman Creekside Park, the Land Trust's first conservation project. We hope to see you all there on Sunday, January 21 from 1-3pm.
They will be roasting s'mores over the fire and sipping hot cocoa, and participants will have the opportunity to learn how and where to recreate all winter long. They'll have equipment demos and instruction from great partners, tips and recommendations on the best ways to get active this winter, and some fun nature crafts and winter birding activities perfect for all ages.
