Event Description:
Join WSU Pullman, the City of Pullman and other local safety agencies for the fourth annual WSU-Pullman Community Safety Fair 10:00am-2:00pm on Saturday, June 22 at the Brelsford WSU Visitor Center. The annual safety fair is a free, family-friendly community event providing Pullman, Whitman County and surrounding area residents with access to hands-on, interactive safety education and local resources. Activities include a resource fair inside the visitor center, located at 150 E. Spring St., firefighter agility training course, bike rodeo, on-site child car seat inspections, water-based fire extinguisher lessons, and a display of various emergency vehicles among others. Attendees will also be entered into a raffle for various prizes contributed by campus and community partners along with having the opportunity to complete a WSU-Pullman Community Safety Fair Passport to be entered into a grand prize raffle. The passport game will require participants to travel through the various safety fair destinations to collect stamps and complete their excursion. Participating agencies include representatives from WSU Pullman, City of Pullman, Whitman County and regional businesses.
