DESCRIPTION:The City of Moscow Historic Preservation Commission will host its annual Orchid Awards on Wednesday\, Nov. 6\, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the 1912 Center.\n\nThis free\, family-friendly event begins at 5 p.m. with a no-host dinner and bar provided by Patty's Mexican Restaurant. \n\nIn addition to the awards\, Stephanie Clarkson\, a project architect at the University of Idaho\, will give a 15-20 minute presentation titled "Idaho Modern\," which highlights her research in preservation and her passion regarding mid-century modern work.\n\nEvery year since 1991\, the Historic Preservation Commission has award individuals\, groups and businesses for their work in historic preservation.
