3rd Street Gallery Speaker Series: ''Vandal Traditions''

Third Street Gallery’s exhibit titled: “Vandal Traditions” runs through Friday, November 24, 2017. The exhibit features items from the University of Idaho Library Special Collections and Archives; the Margaret Ritchie School of Family and Consumer Sciences Leila Old Historic Clothing Collection; and Vandal Athletics.
 
A speaker series on a variety of topics will accompany this exhibit. The series will occur on Thursday nights with a viewing of the Gallery from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. and the speaker portion starting at 6:00 p.m. at Moscow City Hall in the Council Chambers:
 
  • September 28, “Vandal Traditions”, with Kathy Barnard, Executive Director of UI Alumni Relations and Erin Stoddart, Head of Special Collections and Archives at UI Library
 
  • October 26, “Vandal Football”, with former Vandal football greats moderated by Rob Spear, UI Athletic Director
 
  • November 16, “UI Marching Band History”, with Music Professor Dan Bukvich
 
 
Additionally, the Gallery will be open on all Saturdays that feature home football games for the Idaho Vandals.
 
Third Street Gallery is located on the second and third floors of Moscow City Hall at 206 East Third Street Moscow, ID. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
