BookPeople Hosts Free Writers’ Workshop

BookPeople of Moscow welcomes award-winning author Mary Cronk Farrell Spokane, Wash. at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 8 for a free writer’s workshop sponsored by the Inland Northwest Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. There will also be a Q & A after the workshop.  Space is limited; RSVP to bookpeople@moscow.com.
 
Aspiring authors are encouraged to bring the first 750-words of their manuscript or book proposal.  Farrell will scrutinize language and structure for these essential elements, and tackle exercises to improve voice and tension, plus, clarify place, time and mood. Mary Cronk Farrell is an award-winning author of Children's/Young Adult books and former journalist with a passion for stories about people facing great adversity with courage.
