BookPeople Sponsors Book Reading and Q&A
BookPeople of Moscow welcomes authors T.J. Tranchell and Myrna Oakley of Moscow, Idaho at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 22. Tranchell will read from his debut novel “Cry Down Dark” and host a Q&A on self-publishing. Oakley will share examples of her travel writing on the Pacific Northwest and host a Q&A on travel writing. BookPeople manager, Carol Spurling, will also be on hand to answer questions about traditional publishing and self-publishing from the bookstore's perspective. Books will be available for sale and signing.
T.J. Tranchell was born on Halloween. He holds a master's degree in literature from Central Washington University and currently lives in Idaho with his wife and son.
A native Oregonian, Myrna Oakley is a teacher, editor, writing mentor, travel writer. She has written more than a dozen guide books on the Pacific Northwest including “Off the Beaten Path: Oregon,” “Off the Beaten Path: Washington,” “Recommended Bed & Breakfasts Pacific Northwest,” “Northwest Public & Private Gardens,” and “Myrna Oakley's Bed & Breakfast Northwest.”
