Artisans at the Dahmen Barn is offering a culinary arts class on Wednesday, March 1 from 6 to 9 pm with award-winning WSU executive chef Jamie Callison.  Just in time for your holiday themed meal, Callison will show you how to brine a brisket for the perfect St. Patrick’s Day dinner!  He adds a simple twist to this amazing classic feast while not straying far from family tradition.  Participants will prepare a honey-three mustard crusted house-brined corned beef, cabbage cooked with carmelized onions, bacon and herbs, butter basted new potatoes and Irish soda bread, all paired with local beers.  Students with any level cooking skills will enjoy this fabulous meal at the end of the session.  The class fee is $45.  Registrations MUST be received by Thursday, February 23.  Register on the class listing at www.artisanbarn.org or call 509-229-3414.  Minimum number of students is 12; maximum is 18.
