Fatality Residential Fire in the1000 block of Camas St.

The Moscow Police Department and the Moscow Fire Department responded to a residential fire in the 1000 block of Camas Street. Responding units found heavy smoke coming from the residence.  Upon entry, fire personnel found an unresponsive female inside the residence on the couch in the living room with suspected smoke inhalation.  The female was transported to Gritman Medical Center where she later succumbed to her injuries. The fire is currently under investigation with a collaborative effort by the Moscow Fire Department, Moscow Police Department and the State Fire Marshalls Office.
