Food for Thought

The Moscow Food Co-op is proud to present “Wisdom to Survive” for the Food for Thought Film Series. The film will be shown beginning at 7 p.m., Wednesday, February 15 at the Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre in downtown Moscow. The event is co-sponsored by the University of Idaho Sustainability Center.
The Food for Thought Film Series, presented by the Moscow Food Co-op, features an entertaining and thought-provoking film.
Film summary: Wisdom to Survive: Climate Change, Capitalism, & Community is a great kick-off to the 2017 Food for Thought Film Series as it features thought leaders and activists in the realms of science, economics, and spirituality discussing how we can evolve and take action in the face of climate disruption. They urge us to open ourselves to the beauty that surrounds us and offer us solutions and ideas to get to work on ensuring it thrives. One key message throughout the film is that working together, as a global community, we CAN survive. Amongst those featured are Bill McKibben, Joanna Macy, Roger Payne, Richard Heinberg, Gus Speth, Stephanie Kaza, Nikki Cooley and Ben Falk.
