Free Public Activities at the Moscow Food Co-op in August

Mamas + Papas of the Palouse 
Learn about how herbs, homeopathy, hydrotherapy and essential oils can support family health and well-being with ViviAnne Fischer, licensed midwife and Dr. KO, naturopathic doctor Monday, August 7 from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m.  Dr. KO will share her must have remedies for the natural family medicine cabinet. The Mamas + Papas of the Palouse is group for expecting parents and parents with kids up to 2 years old. Meet for conversation and informal talks by experienced parents and experts. Co-op Kids 
Children and their caregivers are welcome for the following Co-op Kids activities.  Co-op Kids meets weekly and all events are all free, with snacks and materials donated by the Moscow Food Co-op.  Co-op Kids is held every Tuesday from 9 - 10 a.m. at the Moscow Food Co-op Café unless otherwise noted.
August 1: Making Sorbet
August 8: Leaf Art (feel free to bring a few pretty leaves from your neighborhood)
August 15: Cork People
August 22: Friendship Square.  Meet at 9 am to play, we will bring the coffee!
August 29: Snack Packing

Good Food Book Club 
The Co-op’s Good Food Book Club will meet Sunday, August 27, from 4:00 - 5:30p.m. at the Moscow Food Co-op to discuss “50 Acres and a Poodle: A Story of Love, Livestock and Finding Myself on a Farm” by Jeanne Marie Laskas. The book is available at BookPeople where Co-op Book Club owners receive a discount.
