The Latah County Historical Society is honored to offer a special tour of the Palouse with Idaho’s First Lady Teresa Little as guest narrator for the day. Little’s family has deep roots in Latah County and she has long championed the preservation of local history. Her extensive family history research will be woven throughout the tour. This is an opportunity like no other to meet Teresa and learn about the First Family’s unique ties to the Palouse.

Participants will climb aboard a comfortable touring bus at 8:00am on Saturday, June 22nd in Moscow and wind their way through the southwest portion of Latah County. The excursion will offer insight into the importance of the Nez Perce Trail, early settlement and agricultural practices, Teresa Little’s family connections to the region, and the histories of communities like Genesee, Blaine, and Moscow. Lunch will be included, as well as light refreshments at a reception following the conclusion of the tour around 5:00pm.

This event is supported by Avista Corporation. Tickets are limited and can only be purchased from the Latah County Historical Society. LCHS members can reserve their seats for $65, while standard reservations are $75. All proceeds benefit the organization’s ongoing efforts to preserve and promote local history.
