Latah Recovery Center to Host Inaugural “Soup’s On” Event
A shared community meal of local soup and bread will raise funds in the name of recovery.

Moscow, ID–October 9, 2018- The Latah Recovery Center is hosting a fundraiser called “Soup’s On” to raise money for Recovery Coaching and outreach programs. The Recovery Center’s resource room, recovery life skills classes, self-help groups, and recovery coaching, provided services to those recovering from mental health and addiction issues approximately 5000 times in 2017.

Soup’s On will feature soup and bread made by over half a dozen premier local restaurants. A shared meal prepared by Bloom, Breakfast Club, Casa Lopez, Gritman Cafe, Mikey’s, Moscow Food Co-op, Nectar, and Seasons Public House will bring community members together with the hopes of building even stronger support, community, and understanding for our friends, neighbors, and co-workers in recovery.

The event will take place on October 24 from 11-2 at the 1912 Center (412 East 3rd Street in Moscow). Tickets are $20 per person and can be purchased at the Latah Recovery Center (531 South Main in Moscow).

Soup’s On is made possible by Palouse Area Care Transport EMS, the event’s founding sponsor. PACT is committed to compassionate, skilled, and timely emergency medical response on the Palouse.
