Light up the Night Holiday Parade & Winter Wonderland Tree Lighting

Moscow Parks and Recreation is hosting the annual Light up the Night Holiday Parade and the 2nd Annual Winter Wonderland Tree Lighting on December 7, 2017.   These events on Main Street in downtown Moscow, Idaho include the Palouse Choral Society singing carols in Friendship Square beginning at 6:15 p.m. with the Winter Wonderland Tree lighting and start of the Light up the Night Parade at 7 p.m.  All events will take place regardless of the weather.

The City of Moscow would like to thank community supporters Home & Harvest Magazine for their coordination of the Winter Wonderland Tree, Woodbury Christmas Tree Farm for donating this year’s tree and Latah Credit Union, Gropp Heating Air and Electric, Moscow Building Supply, and AVISTA for their contributions to this year’s event.   

Partners in the festivities include Gritman Medical Center who is providing cookies and cocoa for attendees in Friendship Square.  The Moscow Chamber of Commerce is also hosting their annual holiday entertainment featuring Moscow Music Academy students from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Chamber lobby and window ballerinas from Festival Dance & Performing Arts from 7 to 8 p.m. Additional refreshments at the Chamber are sponsored by Costco.
