Moscow Food Co-op Healthy Cooking on a Budget Class

Location: Latah County Fairgrounds Kitchen (located at 1021 Harold Street in Moscow)

Cost per class: $5 community; $3 Co-op owners; FREE for FLOWER participants***
*** For those not enrolled in FLOWER, there is a small fee to reserve your seat. When you attend the class you will receive a Moscow Food Co-op gift card for half of the fee you paid.
 
Class Description: Learn how stretch a budget with some fun recipes using beans, lentils, chickpea flower and sunflower butter as protein.
 
About the Instructor: Alice Ma is a Co-op volunteer and registered dietitian who will answer your questions about nutrition and food. Alice received her Master’s degree in nutrition and dietetics at the University of Utah. After spending a year serving as an AmeriCorps volunteer in Ellensburg, WA, she became a resident of Moscow and currently works at Washington State University as the Registered Dietitian for Dining Services. Alice is passionate about food, nutrition, and sustainability and is excited about being involved with the Moscow Food Co-op and local community.
