The Children’s Choir of the Palouse Choral Society will present a spring concert on Sunday afternoon April 2 at 4:00 p.m. in the Great Room of the 1912 Building in Moscow. The performance is a “thank-you gift” from the singers to their families and to the communities in the area, especially to the Moscow Heart of the Arts Commission which has made the Great Room at the 1912 Building available at no charge to the Children’s Choir for their rehearsals the past two years. This concert is a multi-cultural, family-friendly event that is free to the public but donations are welcome. The concert will feature children’s choral music by J.S. Bach (sung in German), a calypso, music from Kenya, and other songs performed by 25 children from fourth grade through middle school and drawn from the Quad Cities area. The group is directed by Claire Murphy and accompanied by Anna Branigan.
