Event: 13th Annual Pullman Stream Clean-Up
Date: April 22, 2017
Time: 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Location: Spring Street Park, Pullman, WA

Make the most of Earth Day this year by participating in the 13th Annual Pullman Stream Clean-Up. Sponsored by the City of Pullman Stormwater Services in partnership with the Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute (PCEI), this local restoration event attracts more than 200 students, families, and community members each year. Meet at Spring Street Park on Saturday, April 22, at 10 a.m. for your chance to make a positive impact on the Pullman community.

Volunteer check-in begins at 10:00 am. The event kicks off sharply at 10:30 with Pullman Transit shuttling volunteer groups to points along the South Fork of the Palouse River, Missouri Flat Creek, and Paradise Creek. During the event’s twelve-year history, volunteers have removed over one hundred cubic yards of trash and recyclables from our waterways. Come be a part of this truly rewarding legacy!

Over 15 local businesses and organizations support the event by providing food, drinks, trash bags, media support, and more. We would like to especially thank Pullman Disposal Service for coordinating waste removal and Pullman Transit for transportation services during the event.

Volunteers can sign up for the event in advance at www.pcei.org/volunteer-event-registration or check-in the day of the event. Refreshments will be provided during check-in and after the cleanup. Volunteers are encouraged to dress for unpredictable weather conditions and to wear close-toed shoes.
